Notes....Nick Adenhart

  • Geo Soto could be back as soon as the finale in Milwaukee, no DL time will be needed
  • Peavy...A matter of Time. Read article here.
  • The Cubs took 2 of 3 in Houston.
Today the Cubs face the Brewers in Miller Park at 3:05 on WGN. In today's match-up Rich Harden will square up against Braden Looper.

Yesterday was a sad day for baseball when young phenomenon Nick Adenhart was killed in a hit-and-run car crash, the offender was caught shortly and hospitalized. I hope the Felon is thrown in in jail for life for taking not one but three lives of Thursday morning. Adenhart and friends Courtney Stewart and Henry Pearson were killed. The fourth friend, Jon Wilhite, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. This event was a couple hours removed from Nick Adenhart's game of his life aganist the A's.

  1. I dont have any words for what happened. Tha man wil be going to jail for felony hit-and-run, 3 counts of vehicle manslaughter, and I think he was drunk. He will prob get about 50+ years in prison. To bad they can't use murder instead of manslaughter.

  4. They will prob drop the suspended license my criminal law teacher said. Plus, he has more things to worry about than his license.

  5. I'm not worried about what happens the the criminal, just very sad about what happened to Nick and the others. It's hard to believe, the MLB Network was still replaying the highlight of his start yesterday after he had passed away. Horrible news, whether it's an MLB player or not you hate to hear about a guy that was in his early 20s passing away.

  6. he was charged with triple murder today. That should be life or death penalty pending on California laws.

  8. He will not get the death penalty, that's going a little overboard. According to CNN.com, he will face "up to life in prison if he is convicted of the charges".

That's very fair. But again, the damage is done, it doesn't really make things any better.
