Notes.......

The Cubs have been approached by teams about Kosuke Fukudome, a major league source said. The Mariners were one of those teams interested and said to be offering guys like Washburn, Johjima, and Bedard. Bedard is owed 7.75M in 09' (but the Cubs have no interest in trading Fukudome.)

• Rick Sutcliffe will be guest instructor for the Cubs until he goes and coaches in the WBC.
• According to Lou, Soriano will be the opening day lead-off batter, but will try him out in other spots in the lineup during spring training.
• The Players were asked if they'd want Manny on the Cubs, and they all said yes. Even Soriano said he'd move back to second base for the games most feared slugger.

UPDATE:

• Carlos Marmol MAY skip the WBC.
• Soriano is telling people that he will steal more (40-40-40 year for Soriano?)
• Orlando Hudson will not be a Cub because he signed with the Dodgers. Also that means no Mark Teahen.
  
• Lou possibly wants Bradley to be the clean-up hitter.
