Cubs have Milton Bradley locked up?

According to WashingtonPost Milton Bradley and the Chicago Cubs have a firm but not formalized deal, which should be announced within 7-10 days, according to Jim Hendry.

Should the Cubs (even though it looks about done) sign Milton Bradley or sign Adam Dunn? So feel free to leave your comments about what you think.

I'll have breaking news, new rumors, and news for the rest of the evening and this weekend, so stay tune.

  1. Rather see them trade Lee and sign Dunn to play 1B and then keep Pie and trade for Roberts. I can only dream.

  2. I'd like the cubs to trade Lee and his 13 million dollar annually salary, but with his FNTC it's not likely. Unless it's the Angels who he might waive since he's from California. Here's a possible scenario (the chances are less then 10%.)

Angels get: Lee (they pay the entire salary)

Cubs get: Chone Figgins, (we play 4.75 salary), RHP prospect

Then the cubs sign Adam dunn 36/4yrs (9yr) plus 4 million of player incentives.

    but still highly unlikely.
